Lithuania Visa Guide

Acquiring a Lithuania Visa

Overview

Lithuania is considered to be a cold country, not because of the people who are very warm and gracious, but due to the temperature of the nation. The country is near to the Arctic Circle and as a result, is colder than many countries. Therefore, the mountain scenery of the nation is not surprising. Still, the country also boasts certain beaches. The combination of mountains and beaches is what attracts tourists to the nation of Lithuania. The tourism industry is directly responsible for more than 6% of the contributions to the GDO of the nation. Furthermore, more than 1.5 million tourists a year visit Lithuania. It is a relatively large number for a country so small in size. Additional visitors to the nation include medical tourists as well. The medical service sector of Lithuania is considered to be one of the cheapest in Europe.
