What Is Sinusitis ?

An inflammation (redness and soreness) or infection of the sinuses (air filled spaces that make mucus) is defined as sinusitis. Sinusitis can be acute (for a short while) or chronic and may also remain for several days and recur.

Ways to Use:

To a bowl of boiling water add a tablespoon of carom seeds. Place the bowl under your face and cover your head and neck with a towel.

Inhale and take deep breaths to clear away the sinuses.

2. Basil (Tulsi)
Ingredients: Basil (Tulsi), Water
Ways to Use:

Chew a few fresh leaves of tulsi early morning on an empty stomach.  You can also choose to add tulsi leaves to your tea during the day.

3. Eucalyptus Oil
Ingredients: Eucalyptus Oil
Ways to Use:

To a boiling bowl of water, add 3-5 drops of eucalyptus oil. Slowly inhale the steam from the bowl. Take short breaks while inhaling.

Repeat this twice daily. You may also add 1-2 drops of the oil on a small handkerchief and inhale after short intervals.

4. Turmeric
Ingredients: Turmeric
Ways to Use:

It is best recommended to chew a raw turmeric root on an empty stomach to effectively cure blocked sinuses.

If it is difficult for you to do so, you can have turmeric with warm water. You can also add honey to make it palatable
