Toyota Camry 2019: The making of the 2018 model is likely to be continued within 2019. Maruti WagonR 2019: Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the new Wagon R later in the last week of January. It will go up against competitors like the Tata Tiago and the newly launched Hyundai Santro. Prices of the new model are likely to be Rs 4 and 5 lakhs (ex-showroom). The new model will offer more features, more space and more safety. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to launch an electric version of the Wagon R in 2020.
Nissan Kicks: The Indian version of the Nissan Kicks will also be launched in the last week of January. It will kick start a new range of cars in the Nissan and Datsun brands, to which Nissan Motors plans to launch in the next few years. The Kicks SUV has already been launched internationally and is based on its V-platform. The Indian version will be based on the B0 that also will take on Renault Duster and Capture, and the company’s own Nissan Terrano. It is expected to have a longer wheelbase and increase cabin and boot capacity. IT is expected to be priced around Rs. 10 lakhs.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class: The luxury carmaker from Germany, Mercedes-Benz is looking to start the new year on a high note with the launch of the V-Class MPV on January 24. It is likely to be available in 7 and 8 seat options. The V-Class has been on sale globally for around three years, and now will be launched in India through the CBU route. Prices are expected to start from Rs. 70 lakhs.
