The claim will be accepted or rejected taking into consideration the relevant documents as well as the claims of the parties involved.

There is no upper cap on the amount claimed in case of death or disability. However, the maximum compensation that can be claimed in case of property damage is Rs. 7.5 lakhs. Claims above this amount, if any is required to be paid by the policy owner. In case of death or disability, the tribunal court will decide on the total compensation to be paid.
