Local Transport

You will have no problem getting around in China as the public transportation system is efficient, clean and cheap. Within cities bus is the preferred mode of transport. Most buses are air-conditioned. The bigger cities also have metro and light rail. For long distances there is nothing better than the high-speed bullet trains. China has the world’s largest high-speed rail network. The longest distance operated by bullet trains is between Beijing and Hong Kong.
