Honda Upcoming Bikes


Honda is one of the best-selling bike brands in India and is probably most famous for its Activa range of scooters that were first released in 1999. Since then, the Activa is possibly the most common scooter on Indian roads. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) i.e. the Indian arm of the Japanese Honda company, also happens to be one of the most diverse two-wheeler manufacturers in the world, releasing a wide range of vehicles both in terms of price and engine power. The price of Honda two-wheelers manufactured and sold in India ranges from INR 45,329 to almost INR 28 lakhs. Further, engine capacity ranges from as less as 110 cc in the case of the Honda Dio to more than 1800cc in the case of the Honda Gold Wing. With increased buying power and a larger demographic of preferences, a wider range of bikes are set to be released towards the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020. Below, we look at some of the upcoming bikes of Honda.

Upcoming Honda Bikes

The last quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020 promises to be one of the most exciting times for any bike enthusiast in India and especially if you are a patron of Honda. In any case, if you do plan to buy one of these, do not forget to get a two-wheeler insurance. Here’s a list of some of the upcoming Honda bikes in India:

  1. Honda CBR300R: Poised to launch in December 2019, the Honda CBR300R is expected to be cost close to INR 3 Lakhs. Armed with a six-speed transmission, the Honda CBR300R has a 286cc liquid-cooled engine capable of 27Nm torque at 7250 RPM. 
  2. Honda CB650R: Like the CBR300R, the CB650R is set to be launched by the end of 2019 and will cost approximately INR 7.5 Lakhs. Powered with a 650cc engine and dual channel ABS, the Honda CBR650R is one the most powerful and versatile upcoming bikes by Honda.
  3. Honda CB500X: Expected to launch by December 2019, the Honda CB500X is going to cost approximately INR 5 lakhs. It will powered by an engine with a capacity of more than 470cc with dual cylinders and dual channel ABS. The engine is a liquid-cooled 4-stroke parallel twin engine with high torque.
  4. : The Honda Forza 300 is one of the most awaited cruiser scooters of 2019-20. Honda Forza 300Expected to launch by December 2019, the Honda Forza 300 will cost upwards of INR 7 lakhs. The Forza 300 is a nearly perfect combination of looks, performance and ergonomics. Powered by an engine capable of producing almost 280cc of power creating 25PS of power and a maximum torque of 27.2Nm. 
  5. Honda Activa 6G: Expected to launch by February 2020, the Honda Activa 6G is one of the most awaited Honda two-wheelers of 2019. A successor to the prolific 5th generation Activa, the Activa 6G has a lot of speculation around it, with claims that it may even be motorcyle-scooter hybrid.
