Any illness/disease/accident requiring hospitalization entails major expenditure or loss of income on your part which extends beyond actual hospitalization expenses. Many of these expenses would not be covered under a standard hospitalization policy. Bharti AXA General Insurance offers Smart Health Essential Insurance Policy which provides a daily cash allowance for the number of days the policy holder has been hospitalised. Our policy come with three plans of daily allowance of Rs. 1,000 per day for 60 days ; Rs. 2,000 per day for 90 days and Rs. 3,000 per day for 120 days after the first three days. The policy covers the individual insured or insured’s family of maximum four persons comprising the insured, his/her spouse and two dependent children up to the age of 23 years.
