Risk Manager of the Year
Bharti AXA General Insurance received the prestigious “Risk Manager of the Year Award 2011" at the Asia Insurance Industry Awards held at Singapore on the 31st of October 2011.
The 15th Annual Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2011 was intensely contested amongst leading insurers, reinsurers and risk managers across Asia, with over 500 entries from leading players across 15 categories of awards. The jury comprises of 29 distinguished panelists from across Asia both from the regulatory and professional community.
Bharti AXA General Insurance is the only Indian company in the Life & General Insurance category to be nominated for and winning the prestigious Award.
We are the only insurance Company in India with an in-house risk management team offering a range of risk management services like Pre Acceptance survey with specialized consultancy studies at a nominal cost across select evaluation, audits and surveys. These include General Safety Audit, Fire Safety Audit, Electrical Safety Audit, Post Loss Survey, Risk Inspection amongst others. This award is a testimony to our commitment to offer our customers better value and redefine the way they look at Insurance.
AXA Ranks No.1 Globally on Net Written Premiums, 2010
AXA has been placed as the numero uno insurer on Net Written Premiums for 2010 and ranks second globally on assets by A.M. Best based on rating given by Best Link data. Adding another feather to the cap of ever growing achievements, AXA takes great pride in this significant milestone embracing it for the second consecutive year in a row.
- AXA had US$107.9 billion in Net Written Premiums in 2010, up 0.2% from the previous year to command the position of world’s leading insurer
- AXA had $920.48 billion in 2010 assets, up 3.27% from the previous year giving it the 2nd position globally on total non-banking assets

We have consistently focused on improving service delivery mechanisms as a key differentiator to enriching customer experience and as a testimony to this we have settled over 1 lakh claims, since inception. What differentiates us is the focus we have on claims consultancy at the beginning of the client relationship rather than at the occurrence of the loss. This is with a view to prevent rather than mitigate.
