As CEO of Bharti AXA General Insurance, Dr. Amarnath is responsible for spearheading the company towards its goal of becoming the preferred company in the General Insurance arena in India.

Under his leadership, Bharti AXA General Insurance has developed into one of the fastest growing General Insurance companies in the country and is one of the first companies to cross the Rs. 200 Cr GWP mark within the first year of operations. .

Amar’s customer focussed attitude has played a key role in ensuring the swift implementation of technologies, products and services that act as differentiators in the Indian general insurance industry and ensure greater customer satisfaction & loyalty.

Prior to joining Bharti AXA General Insurance Amar worked with GE, as Regional Insurance Leader for GE Capital's Asian operations including India. During his tenure, GE Money won “One of Top Three Service Providers of the Year for Asia” Award from the Asia Insurance Review (2007), and his regions won the “Insurance Country of Year” (Thailand and Indonesia in two subsequent years) awards. He personally received the GE Money Asia Tiger Award (2007) for Individual Excellence & Effective Leadership.

He did his post graduation in Economics from the University of Delhi and then went to get a PhD in Economics from Rutgers University, New Jersey. In Rutgers he was awarded the Sidney Brown prize for the most outstanding PhD student in 1995.

George Kurien has over 24 years of experience in the General Insurance industry. As Chief Financial Officer of Bharti AXA General Insurance he is responsible for Finance, Investments, Project Management and Administration.

He joined the AXA group in 2005 as the Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for the finance function for the Middle East operations, which had a premium income of circa US$ 300 m.

George brings with him, a rich experience as the Head of Finance of multinational insurance companies such as Norwich Union Insurance (AVIVA), Middle East and AXA Insurance, Middle East.

During his tenure with AXA Middle East, he was responsible for setting up AXA Cooperative Insurance, a cooperative insurance company in Saudi Arabia. He also successfully managed AXA's entry to the State of Qatar, by setting up a new operation under the Qatar Financial Centre. He was a Director on the board of ASC, Dubai, a services company that provides policy and claims processing services to AXA Group companies in the Middle East.

Besides Finance, George has experience in core insurance operations as well in underwriting, claims and branch management. He has served as a guest faculty at the United India Insurance training centre and at seminars in the Gulf.

He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London and Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India.

He is married with two sons aged 14 and 19 years. His interests include music, cricket and philately.

Mr. Narayanamurty joined Bharti AXA General Insurance Company in April 2007. As SVP Underwriting and Product Development he oversees all products from design to approval, evaluates and underwrites risks and is also responsible for reinsurance.

He has worked with General Insurance Corporation of India, where he joined in 1986 at the starting point of his career, and with Reliance General Insurance, where he headed Underwriting, Claims and Product Development in all fields of General Insurance.

Having spent over 22 years in the General Insurance industry, Mr. Narayanamurthy's experience spans Commercial, Retail & Rural Segments. He also has experience in HR, Economics, Statistics & Foreign Business, Agency Development and Grievance Redressal as well as Marketing and Publicity.

A Post Graduate in Commerce from Bhartiar University, Coimbatore and a Graduate in Law from Chennai University, he is also a Cost Accountant and Fellow in Insurance from Insurance Institute of India.

He has been a sportsman and has captained his school and college cricket teams and has also played at University and District levels.

He is married with two children. His wife is a specialist in teaching children with Cerebral Palsy, as well as a child nutritionist and psychologist.

Kim Soon, has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. As Chief Operating Officer of Bharti AXA General Insurance Co Ltd, he is responsible for Distribution, Marketing and Underwriting.

Kim Soon joined the AXA group in 2003 and was AXA Malaysia?s Head of Distribution and Marketing prior to taking up his current position at Bharti AXA General Insurance. At AXA Malaysia, he was responsible for managing all Business Units and Branches as well as Agency Management and Retail Business.

He has also worked in a number of multinational general insurance companies and has wide experience in sales, marketing, underwriting, claims and branch management. In addition, he spearheaded a number of green field projects like eInsurance System and Inhouse Call Centre.

In addition, he was active in the Malaysian Industry, having served as a key lecturer for the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) and also presented several papers on Insurance. He was a member of the General Insurance Association of Malaysia Agency Board and a past member of the MII Examination Committee.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) since 1987.

Kim Soon is happily married, with 3 sons and pursues golf during his leisure time.

Mr. Milind Joshi joined Bharti AXA General Insurance Company in June 2007. As SVP Operations & Claims he overseas all operational processes and claims procedures of the company.

He comes with over 25 years of in-depth experience in the General Insurance market and has worked with United India Insurance Co Ltd, where he started his career in 1982. Subsequently, he worked with Tata AIG General Insurance Co Ltd, where he spent around 7 years, first heading their Personal Lines Claims and later in business heading the company's operations in the North.

Mr. Joshi has developed and implemented several novel methods to maintain operational excellence, and has also developed India specific training programmes for Auto Estimation and Investigation. Apart from his experience in claims, Mr. Milind Joshi has garnered vast experience in start up of operations, building and development of strong technology platforms, broking, affinity partnership and direct channels.

Mr. Joshi is a B. Pharm. (Hons) from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani and a Fellow in Insurance from Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.

His hobbies include music, reading and swimming.

He is married with two children. His wife is a Post graduate in Chemistry and is a home maker.
